St. Catherine Catholic School is seeking a Part-time Substitute Teacher to Provide educational instruction to students in assigned age group or subject area for short-term or long-term assignments.
Job Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver educational instruction using the most efficient and effective methodology for the students assigned when the regular teacher is unavailable
- Collaborate and clearly communicate with parents / guardians and other educators to assist the students
- Implement approved-course curriculum
- Implement modifications in a student's education plan as required
- Complete written reports and assigned administrative tasks related to these functions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Principal
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Florida State Certification (or approved application for Certification)
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently and in groups
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask
- Knowledge of theory and practice of student learning styles
- Ability to remain calm and pleasant under stressful circumstances
- Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with staff, students and parents
- Strong computer skills
